SINGAPORE, 7 May – Triathlon history has been made in Singapore today with British stars Beth Potter and Alex Yee taking the first ever esport triathlon World Championship titles.

The British pair wouldn’t have it all their own way in the heat, humidity and rain of Southeast Asia at Arena Games Triathlon Singapore powered by Zwift, however, with Hungary’s Zsanett Bragmayer and Hayden Wilde of New Zealand powering their way to the event wins to leave the Brits in second place in the fast and frenetic nine-discipline tri format.

SINGAPORE - It was Fiji's day in Singapore. After beating New Zealand in the finale, infront of a packed stadium, Fiji became the first 3-time champions in Singapore winning HSBC Rugby Sevens. Fiji, being the most aggressvie in the field beat New Zealand convincingly in the finale (10/4) by 28-17. They had last won in Singapore in 2006 & 2018.

Fan Zhendong and Wang Chuqin of China won the Singapore Smash men’s doubles title on Friday (18 March), beating Japanese pair Yukiya Uda and Shunsuke Togami 3-1 (12-10, 12-10, 12-14, 11-7) at the OCBC Arena.

South Korean Professional Golfer, Jin Young Ko claimed her 13th LPGA victory at the HSBC Women’s World Championship after closing a round of 66 saw her finish two clear of the filed at 17-under-par. In her first event of the season, Jin Young Ko’s final round of 66 saw her set the LPGA Tour’s all-time record for most consecutive rounds in the 60s. In Gee Chun who started the day off in the lead, finished in tied second after a round of 69 put her at 15-under-par alongside Australia’s’ Minjee Lee who carded a spectacular round of 63 which saw a total of 11 birdies.
